The new ice fountain Stalagmit by KLAFS works in a completely different way than the well-known devices: here the ice does not fall from above into a drip tray, but – as the name implies – grows from bottom to top.
This has two advantages. The Stalagmite is particularly easy to install quickly and inexpensively, because it can be freestanding, for example, in a previously unused room niche. It only requires connections for water, sewage and electricity. In addition, the Stalagmite offers a unique spectacle and is therefore absolutely unique on the market: the ice grows in the form of icicles evenly up – and the viewer is magically encouraged to look closely and estimate when the icicles fall over.
With its timelessly elegant design and the chic as well as resistant cladding made of white mineral material, it adapts harmoniously to any environment and is a very special attraction for guests of spa areas in hotels, leisure and adventure pools or spas.
In keeping with the theme of ice cream – the ice bowl is shimmering with cool LED backlighting in cool blue or optionally with a change of color light.
As a central eye-catcher and source of the coveted cold, the ice fountain STALAGMIT is also used in our ICE LOUNGE.

- Hygiene Plus: A closed water cycle largely eliminates bacteriological contamination. Integrated cartridge filter to reduce limescale against germ formation. Sterile filter against microorganisms.
- Safety concept: Multi-level safety concept with integrated humidity sensor, Aquastop valve on the supply hose, use of hoses, photocell in the storage tank, water pressure switch, automatic motor protection switch, high-pressure switch and overcurrent release.
- Lighting: Modern LED lighting of the drip tray in blue color, with optional color change.
